Welcome to Nature Kids, a Reggio Emilia inspired in-home childcare for ages 3 months - 10 year olds. Our bilingual English and Spanish program focuses on learning through play and interaction. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters creativity, exploration, and a love of learning. Note: Upon Enrollment we ask a 50% security deposit that will go towards the 1st month payment to hold your spot. If for whatever reason contract is not held it will be non-refundable.

If I take my family out for vacations, do I need to pay?Yes, please pay the regular fees to hold your child’s space at our childcare center. Families can take as many weeks of vacation each year. Please give us a minimum 7 days’ notice for any vacation.

If my child is sick, can I bring my child to the childcare center?Parents need to keep children at home if they are ill, not feeling well or unable to integrate into activities, or if they might be contagious to others.

What is the enrollment process?Congratulations on making the best decision for your child by enrolling them at Nature Kids Child Care. *Call us to determine if this is the best center for your family's needs. *Read through the Parent Handbook. *Complete the Enrollment Application, Licensing Forms, and pay all applicable fees. It's that easy! We look forward to seeing you soon.

When will a spot become available for my child?We are unfortunately unable to give an exact answer for this question. Our enrollment shifts unexpectedly at times and our enrollment depends on many different factors. We do tend to see a shift in our enrollment come the summer and fall months. We can give an estimate on your family’s spot on the waitlist at any time. Full time spots will always be given priority.

When is Tuition Due?It is due every 15th of the month. There will be a late fee if not paid on time. If re occurring late payments; termination may happen.

What food does my child eat?- For infants age 12 months and younger, parents are required to provide all breast milk, formula and bottle accessories. - For toddlers aged 12 months and above, we can offer homemade nutritious, organic and balanced meals at no extra cost. - We will work with parents to provide them with their dietary needs. - Meals include milk, protein, fruits, vegetables and grains.

What is your adult to child ratio?To provide a quality and positive experience we are a low student to teacher ratio 1:6

What is Reggio Emelia/ Emergent curriculum?Child center approach: The curriculum is driven by the interests, ideas, and questions of the students. Teachers actively listen and observe to identify and support their individual needs and passions.

Why I do need to pay an annual fee?Once you have made the decision and join NATURE KIDS Child Care. You will be responsible to pay a non-refundable annual fee per child. The annual fee will be used to provide supplies, field trips, parties, and educational toys, etc.
